SOCIALIZING PUPPIES

Hannah helps socialize our puppies!

Socializing puppies is crucial for their development, helping them become well-adjusted, confident dogs. Early socialization reduces fear and anxiety, making them more comfortable in new environments and around different people and animals. Properly socialized puppies are less likely to exhibit behavioural issues, ensuring a happy, harmonious life with their human families.

Socialization involves exposing puppies to a variety of experiences, such as meeting new people, interacting with other dogs, and encountering different sounds, sights, and smells. It’s important to start socialization during the critical period, which is typically between 3 and 14 weeks of age, as this is when puppies are most receptive to new experiences. Regular, positive exposure to different situations helps them develop into well-mannered and adaptable adults.

In this video, Hannah helps socialize our puppies as she is homeschooled and this is part of her curriculum. By incorporating puppy socialization into her daily routine, she ensures that each puppy receives the attention and experiences they need to thrive.
